Built by a working mechanic

From a real shop floor

Auto AI Diagnostics started when a Florida mechanic with 25 years in the bay found a better way to diagnose cars: the fault code, the freeze-frame data, and AI reading them together — a real diagnosis, not a definition. Built for techs and DIYers alike, it's the app he uses at the shop every day.

Checked against pro tools

Scan results are validated side-by-side against professional scan tools on real customer cars — domestics, imports, and European models with per-module deep scanning — before features ship.

English y Español

The entire app — including AXEL's AI diagnosis — works completely in Spanish. Los escáneres más famosos no hablan español. AXEL sí.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need any special equipment?

Just a standard Bluetooth OBD2 adapter, which plugs into the port under your dashboard — about $30 for Android phones. One thing iPhone owners need to know: iPhones can't talk to the old-style Bluetooth in bargain-bin adapters, so you'll want a Bluetooth 4.0 adapter like the vLinker (about $60). See the adapters we use at the shop.

Will this work on my car?

Auto AI Diagnostics works with the vast majority of gas cars and light trucks sold in the U.S. from 1996 onward — including older pre-2008 vehicles that use K-line diagnostics, and European models like BMW and Mercedes. BMW owners also get per-module deep scanning (DME, DSC, EGS, CAS and more).

Can it clear my check-engine light?

Yes. After you've reviewed the diagnosis, you can clear stored codes right from the app. If the underlying problem isn't fixed, the light may come back — and the app will tell you why.

Is the AI advice accurate?

The AI-powered diagnosis is built to give you a clear, practical starting point in plain language. For complex or safety-related repairs, we always recommend confirming with a trusted mechanic.

How much does it cost?

The app is free to download. You only need a compatible diagnostic adapter, which is a one-time purchase available from most major retailers.
